What gets checked
Before a repair, appliance, or reference page stays live, the copy is read for three things: whether a homeowner can tell what the page is about, whether it pushes unsafe DIY work, and whether it makes a claim the business record does not support.
Safety limits
Published troubleshooting stays on owner-safe observations: what the appliance is doing, what to stop using, and when to request a visit. Steps that involve gas, live electrical work, refrigerant, or sealed systems are not published as how-to.
Claims that do not belong
Authorization, factory certification, OEM-only language, guaranteed arrival windows, star ratings, and invented credentials are removed when they appear. A symptom is not written as a confirmed cause.
Dates
The modified date on a page is the record of when that page last changed. There is no separate unpublished review log described here.
Reporting a problem
If a page looks wrong or unsafe, use the contact page and name the URL. Reports are read and the page is updated when a correction is needed. See the corrections policy for that path.
