A coffee machine that will not brew often pauses for a water tank, a full drip tray, or a descale prompt. Those pauses are not a confirmed valve failure.
Fill and reseat the tank. Empty the drip tray and grounds container. Read the display before selecting another drink. Then run the guided descale if that is what the machine asked for — see the descale article.
Beyond the prompt
Do not force internal valves or use an unapproved chemical. If containers are empty, the tank is seated, and drinks still will not pour, use coffee-machine diagnosis.
